Debt Collector change my address!!!

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Texas

I received a notice from Equifax that a certain collection agency was deleted from my credit file. Three days later I look at my credit report for equifax, because I received a notice that my PERSONAL information has been changed, and my current address has been updated to show that I now live at that collection companies address. Can legal actions be taken against this company for this?

So who changed it? Was it simply an error or intentional.


Contact equifax and get it corrected and move on with life.
