I understand that if a judgement is filed by a debt collector and is successful, that any bank accounts I have may be frozen/garnished. If I only have direct deposit from my employer and I opt to have my paycheck be deposited directly into my home equity line of credit account instead, can the judgement freeze my home equity line of credit acccount. All of my accounts are connected where I do my banking. Mortgage and Home Equity all with same bank as checking account.
