Hi,

I live in New Jersey.

I have several old debts which total over $10,000. I've heard that if a debt is old enought, it can fall outside the statute of limitations of collectability.

Should I research this for each one of my debts? Or, if it is true of my debts, should I try to pay them when I get the chance? I don't know if the old debts will affect my future credit, even if they are outside the statute of limitations.

Thanks,

Jimmy
