What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Texas,
I paid my attorney to represent me, but he died. How do I get my money back?

Is this attorney a member of a firm or a sole practitioner??

If a member of the firm, then another attorney will be assigned to your case. If a sole practitioner, his practice will likely be taken over by another attorney.
You need to stay in contact with his office.
