What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? New York

I'm planning to make a donation of several large appliances and furniture. Since I cannot easily move it myself and my vehicle is not large enough to carry it all, I plan to hire a moving company to move, deliver and offload the goods to the Charity. Can I deduct the cost of hiring the moving company from my taxes?

Yes, out of pocket costs associated with charitable donations are deductible in the same manner as the donation.
