What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?
NJ
Hi!
I obtained a tax ID with IRS last November 2008 and registered my sole proprietorship business in NJ in January 2009. I did have expences on buying the inventory for business much before November 2008, starting from March 2008. Can I claim these expences and deduct them even when they were made before obtaining a tax ID?

Thank you for your advice.
