State of divorce is KY. divorce decree states parents split 50% of medical bills. I submitted bills to ex for recent claims. ex now states he is going to deduct from bills in 1998. he never gave me any bills and has never requested any payment of these until i now send him these recent bills. i have requested these bills, now i'm wondering, isn't there a statue of limitations on when bills can be sent to my medical insurance company? dah...i guess he doesn't realize if he would have sent them to me back then, then the balance would be less THEREFORE his portion would be less. any suggestions? i did not send these to my lawyer as i haven't had to use him in a couple of years. i didn't know it was going to go to this extreme.
