I live in in a 30 yr. old subdivision in nc, it contains about 150 lots but only 6 homes. The reason for the disparity is the access is across an old wooden low water bridge. For years we the home owners have requested contributions from the lot owners for bridge and road repair with little response.
The bridge and roads are a deeded right of way but is there a way for the 6 home owners to build a new steel bridge and restrict its use. The bridge and roads are all private, no gov. agency involved. Under new county ordinances the lots are now too small to get a building permit. Thankyou
