What is the name of your state? NJ
I am currently buying a home in NJ and I am using my funds for the mortgage and I do not want to list my husband on the title/deed due to judgements that he is working on right now. His name is not on the purchase agreement or any of the mortgage documents but is there a further step to ensure that he is not on the deed or since his name is not listed on any of the paper that pertains to this house will they just not list and can they just add someone name to the deed without verify that is should be on there?
