Today I found out one of our employees has filed a claim against our company naming me as discriminating because she is a different color than me. She has worked for us for two years and got suspended until the investigation is over. There was a aligation made that she abused one of the mentally retarded people she takes care of. I am extremly upset about her filing against me. Do I have a case for defamation of chacter?

Not if she believes you have discriminated. If you can prove she did this as retaliation then maybe, but you have suffered no damage so what would you sue FOR?
