What is the name of your state? OKLAHOMA

I AM CURRENTL HAVING CUSTODY ISSUES WITH MY EX-HUSBAND AND RECEIVED COURT ORDERS FROM HIS LAWYER. WHILE READING THE DOCUMENTS I WAS SHOCKED AND COULD NOT BELIEVE THE THINGS THAT WERE BEING SAID ABOUT ME. THE VICIOUS ATTACKS WERE FALSE AND VERY DAMAGING TO MY PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL REPUTATION. THE LAWYER WENT AS FAR AS REFERRING TO ME AS A PROSTITUTE. THE ISSUE AT HAND HAS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO WITH MY CHARACTER AND I AGREE TO THE ORDER SO HOW COULD THIS ATTEMPT TO DEMEAN ME BE BENEFICIAL IN ANY WAY? I AM IN THE REAL ESTATE BUSINESS AND DO MORTGAGE LOANS ALL OVER THE UNITED STATES AND I FEEL THAT THIS COULD AFFECT MY BUSINESS. IS THERE ANYTHING THAT I CAN DO TO HAVE THE DOCUMENTS RETYPED WITH OUT THE MALICIOUS REMARKS? MY EX-HUSBAND SAID THAT THIS WAS NOT INFORMATION HE GAVE TO HIS LAWYER BECAUSE THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH MY CHARACTER. MY DAUGHTER WAS PRESENT DURING THE CONFRENCE AND CONFIRMS THIS. IF THIS IS TRUE AND THE LAWYER ADDED THIS INFORMATION TO HELP BENEFIT HIS/HER CLIENT WOULD I HAVE A CASE AGAINST THE LAWYER?

So are you a prostitute?

Guess what, besides breaking the rules of this forum by typing in all caps, you fail to grasp a very easy concept in the legal arena: And that is, legal documents and/or statments made in court are not actionable for libel/slander.

So, get out from under the streetlamp and get your own attorney.
