What is the name of your state? North Carolina
Somebody has contacted our county Department of Social Services with a complaint against me. They told them that I scream and yell all the time, and I seem very violent! They told the Social Worker that they fear I may be abusing my wife and children.
First of all, since when does screaming at your kids constitute Domestic Violence? Sure, I scream and yell at my 7-year old daughter all the time! I scream at her because she is a "Spoiled Brat", and does not do a dam thing we asker her to do! If you want her to do something, like leaving her younger brother alone, you have to scream at her!
Second, I have been married going on 10 years. I have never beaten my wife or my kids, and do you want to know why? Because I will go to jail that's why! If I get mad, I yell and I scream.
I understand this persons (tattletale) concern, but until you actually see me hitting my wife or kids, mind your own dam business! What really has me mad is the fact that the Department of Social Services will not tell me who my accuser is. It seems they are protected by some sort of a right. Well, what about my right to face my accuser. That is in the Constitution, is it not? What about Defamation of Character, and Slander? This person has said bad things about me that are not true, what rights do I have?
Thanks,
Cadguy2
