What is the name of your state? TX
Someone is making false accusations about me stating to others that I had an affair with her husband. She is also saying that he is having an affair with EVERYONE we work with. This is absolutely crazy. There has apparently been problems in the marriage for some time and now she has gone crazy reporting he is cheating with everyone he comes in contact with. This could potentially cause me to lose my job and marriage. Things she is saying is ABSOLUTELY not true, and she is reporting that she has email proof, which is NOT true. Do I have a defamation case or do I have to wait until she actually causes problems first? What is the name of your state? Should I try to reason with someone like this and talk with her?
