I have a friend who is being accused by his ex-wife of being a child molester and for supposedly being into child porn. This is completely untrue!!!! She is spreading this viscious lie to all his family members and friends and to anyone who will listen. This accusation has not yet effected his job or status in the community but it may in the future if the defamation continues and she is not stopped. What are his legal rights and what can he do to stop this women from ruining a good person? They have been divorced for over 3 years now and she is just now spreading this defamation. I am very concerned for his welfare. Please help!!!

Tell him to hire an attorney & start a lawsuit for slander immediately. Accusations of child molesting are slander per se & your friend won't even have to prove he was damaged.

This is not legal advice and you are not my client. Double check everything with your own attorney and your state's laws.
