A woman has told people that I am a threat to her and that she is scared of me. She told people that I am a sexual pervert and mentally ill. The forum that she used to say these lies was at an AA meeting. She spoke and mentioned me by name to a room full of women. She showed text messages that she said were from me to other women. She called a close friend of mine and said very hurtful - false things about me to him. She continues to send me text messages after she told these lies about me. First, a man approached me and said that several women spoke to him about the alleged inappropriate behavior. After that I have heard numerous stories of what happened. Now, women have started spreading these lies and it is gaining momentum. It went so far as to be brought to the attention of a governing board of a building where I frequent. I was just going to suck it up as a scorned woman that went to far, but it has gone to far. My reputation and character has been smeared in a purposely planned out manner by this woman. Even after these viscious lies were told she continued to call and text message me graphic sexual invitations. I have 20 saved text messages and people that were there to hear the lies. Can I sue her?
