What is the name of your state? Indiana.

Very recently some guy tried to press charges agianst me for allegedly harassing his daughter. In the motion for discovery I got from my lawyer there were multiple emails between the father and law enforcement. in these emails the father was saying that I was a mentally retarded nut ball...that I had mental problems...etc. also at the time I was out of jail pending the case on 2 grand bond. He kept writing several emails to law enforcement saying that he wanted my bond revoked...that he wanted law enforcement to seize my computer...and then he finally said I was still harassing his daughter. then the local prosecutor got my bond revoked and took my computer and then after 60 something days of waiting in jail for my trials, 5 days before one trial and 6 days before the 2nd trial. The prosecutor dismissed the charges. Do I have a lawsuit for defamation of character for the father saying I was a mentally retarded nut ball...that I had mental problems...etc?? I know I can sue. but is there a good case in that? also the father repeatedly told law enforcement that he wanted my computer taken etc. Do I have a good lawsuit case in that? I'm not sure because I was not able to prove my innocence in court, the prosecutor saw that I was not going to take a plea bargain so he dismissed the charges. I would of loved the lawsuits I would of gotten out of that case had I gone to trial and won. but do I have any good cases since the prosecutor dismissed the charges right before the trials??
