What is the name of your state? California

I bought a glider/recliner chair from La-Z-boy. The chair doesn't glide smootly and makes a lot of noise, pretty much killing its value. La-Z-boy has been out to fix said chair 5 times each time with no success. They are refusing to replace the chair or to refund the purchase price and take it back. They continue to invent other solutions they can try to repair and order a new part to try. Each time the process takes 1.5-2 months for them to get back out and try again to fix the chair. I believe they are simply trying to stall until the chair is out of warranty after one year (about 3 months from now).

What would be the best means to put pressure on them to either replace the defective chair or to simply refund the purchase and take the chair back? Is their some agency I should contact about the problem, as California is pretty consumer friendly I figure there must be something that can be done.
