The defendant that I am suing has refused and ignored the certified mail from the local small claims court. So the court had me pay the sheriff's office to serve him. They tried 6 times, ran the plates at the address to confirm the defendant lives there and he refuses to answer his door. They sent me the court paperwork back saying service unable to be completed.

Where does one go from here? Do I need to file for something like a body attachment?
