What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? California.

Hi. I was wondering how common it is for the defense to serve Requests for Admissions on a plaintiff in a civil suit. I know it can be done but it seems that it's primarily something the plaintiff does. Any other insite would be helpful too. :D Thank you.

go ahead ... file a notice of service of the request with the court so they have the date you served them, in case they don't respond .. don't file the requests themselves with the court
