Help!

A few years ago my husband got in an argument over rights to a taxi (argh). My husband grabbed this guy's arm, they yelled, and the guy took a swing at him. He missed my husband, but he hit the cab and broke his own finger. Now, he's trying to sue us for 3 million dollars. I have no idea what to do.

If you had homeowners or rental coverage (maybe even your auto coverage would apply) at the time of the incident, turn the matter over to them. They will get a lawyer and defend the action for you. If you did not have insurance, hire a lawyer to defend you. Do not wait. You do not want a default judgment entered against you.
