What is the name of your state? Oklahoma

I am hoping that someone here may be willing to give me some information; I have a family member that got a five year deffered sentence here in Oklahoma. This young man did not keep his commitments, in fact he moved out of state and now close to seven years have passed. As you may immagine the other day he was involved in an accident and the police notified his wife that there are warrants for him in the state of Oklahoma, this all happened while he was still in the hospital. Now that he is out of the hospital, he doesn't know what to do and some of the questions are: 1. will it help if he turns himself in? 2. Would they have sentenced him at the end of the five year deferred sentence without him being present? ( His court appointed attorney told me when he got the deferred sentence that he would probably have to serve 15 years of a longer sentence if he did not honor his commitments). 3. would an attorney be able to help him any at this point?
Thank you for any information that you are willing to share,
