Morning~
My situation is that three ex contract employees are upset that their assignment was ended. They have gotten together and written letters to my bosses wife, local newspaper, Mayor, parent agency and Local Police Agency inreference to his affairs and the fact of his laxed management style. My concern is not so much with the accusations of his management style but with the fact that they included my name in the letter as one of the people that he has had an affair with. I have tried my best to defend myself (even to his wife) but the damage is done. I have a child that works for this agency (summer)and I am also married. This is just getting out of hand and it is like a runaway train. I am seeking some type of advice as to what I should do because this is affecting all parts of my life. I'm thinking about leaving the job but their damage is done. People talk and when you make them angry, they start to talk also. So, now there are people that they have disclosed their scheme to that are starting to tell all. If you can give me some advice I would appreciate it. Thanks

Thanks for your response, I am a tad bit hurt and frustrated. No, it has never been me in that mix. We've been friends for over 13 years, just good friends.
