What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? PA\

Father and I are to split nonreimbursable medical expenses; this is detailed in child support order.
I cover the first $250 per year per child and then it goes 70% him and 30% me. Father is also ordered to provide medical and dental coverage, along with $667.00 support monthly and half of child care. (Kids only go 3 days per week).
From Feb 2009 to now I have spent $360 out of pocket for son's ADHD meds. Dad is refusing to pay any portion of this, which would be minimal. I also paid $350 out of pocket for dental visits for both children (Dad neglected to take them per verbal agreement) in May; Father was reimbursed by dental insurance because he carries the coverage. First he agreed to give me the money, then he refused. I filed small claims against him but was told they tried to serve him twice at home and couldn't, and they won't serve him at work (Philadelphia..45 min away). Small claims was dismissed without prejudice. This fall kids had dental appts again and I paid $50 out of pocket for anesthesia for fillings. There is a balance due of $108 that I informed Dad of (for one child) and made it clear that since I had been covering all these other costs, he should pay a portion. He is refusing to do so. I have submitted all receipts/bills to him in a timely manner. He won't even reimburse me 8$ which is half of cost of library book that daughter lost AT HIS HOUSE. I paid for it because I wanted her to be able to continue to use the library.

Domestic Relations is also screwing up my support payments..I was supposed to get $307 the other day and all I got was $22. I called the state and they told me they can't help with that. I guess I will just have to go downtown and see what they say...any ideas??

I can re-file small claims against Dad in the township dentist is located in if I decide to do it that way...any recommendations??

I guess Dad's portion of the dental balance would in fact be $75.60 and mine would be $32.40. He is refusing to pay ANYTHING.

Thanks Tink!
I have thought about filing for contempt.
I have an excellent attorney (the best!) but she does cost $250 per hour..
I think I could do this pro se...
I am going to research a little and see what I find out.

Looks like I can either file on my own or have Domestic Relations do it according to PA code. Filing fees are about $150, so I may try to see if I can get someone at DR to help me with this.

So funny...Dad buys kids DS's at $200 each but won't pay for what they NEED.

Update

Went to Domestic Relations today.
They will enforce the medical expenses; I have to send them copies of bills, receipts, and insurance summaries by March 31.
I also have to send these to Father by Feb. 28 certified mail with return receipt. (I have already supplied these before to him but will do it again).

I'm not sure exactly how they are going to enforce this, if they're going to add these expenses to his arrears, or if they're going to garnish his wages.

For some reason the payments have been messed up for a few months as well. I was getting about $60 less per month than before; $307 biweekly as opposed to $337. This week I was due to get a payment and I only got $22.57. That is being addressed now as well. They said it should be back to the original amount within a week or so. They verified that there was no modification to the order; the only thing they found was that he has 2 jobs and for some reason the part-time job was being attached, not the full-time job. Nobody knows how that happened...

Will update more later~!

Update

Mailed Father the necessary copies of bills, receipts, etc last week so he would have them by the 28th. Haven't heard a thing, no surprise.
I sent it certified mail, return receipt requested.

He has a habit of not claiming these kinds of mail...hiding from creditors, legal summons, etc.

So later this month I will submit everything to Domestic Relations and we'll see what happens...they want you to wait 30 days after sending the other party.
