What is the name of your state? California

In November 1986, I was tricked into signing up for a class at Barclay Career School. I was told that I could acquire a CPA degree but instead, they placed me in a banktelling course. I immediately informed them that I would not be attending, and I phoned the Freddie Mac hotline number and told them not to pay the school because of what they had did.

Well, 18 years later, the government is still coming after me about this. My check is currently being garnished and the agency refuses to acknowledge that I did not attend the school, even though their website notes that I never attended the school.

Does anybody know what I can do?
