What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? New Jersey

Hi,

I will soon go to Court and one of the issues in discussion will be the chance, for me, to indicate my son as a dependant every other year.

I am the non-custodial parent and I spend with him only about 1/6 of his time.
Last year I provided 67 % of the child support (and day care), this year, due to a recalculation, I am providing 55 %.

I am also the parent who provides health coverage to him.

The Judge asked me to bring in Court valid reasons why I should have the right to indicate my son as a dependant.

Besides what I wrote above, can you give me some advice? Can you please point me to on-line information about this particular topic?

thank youWhat is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?
