deportation after probation?

CA - a friend of mine is not a u.s citizen. he is currently doing time for probation violation. the crime that he was charged with was fraud ( attempting to use a fake $100 bill)...can he be deported for this? is there anything that he can do? please help....

I do not believe it is a deportable offense, but he should double-check with an immigration attorney.
