What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Georgia

In the state of GA, they pay you for the depreciation of your vehicle following an auto accident (not at fault driver). How long is it typically before payment is made to the owner of the car that wasn't at fault?

Thank you!

This isn't something that gets paid out automatically, you have to make the claim and prove the damages. Did you do that?

After several days of waiting and then posting this, I did hear back from the adjustor. My claim does qualify for diminished value. They base it on the age of the car, the amount of damage to the car and the mileage. I fit each parameter.

Thank you, ecmst12.

Seems to me that the adjuster is the better person to ask this question of.
