I am currently in the United Kingdom.
I have dual citizenship with the U.K. and U.S.A. I joined the army from oversea's in Germany. I was on my 11th week of osut, so I was nearly finished I never had any intention of going awol or anything like that. On one march I developed stress fractures in my foot. I couldn't run anymore so was sent to sick bay, where they recommended 30 days convalescent leave. So with no other option I had to go. To cut a long story short my parents weren't very supportive of me joining the army in the first place saying i was throwing my life away. So when I came home from con leave my mother said it was my chance to start over and get out. At first I was just saying no, but after a couple of weeks they convinced me to stay. They were saying I was making my mother sick from stress, so I made the dumbest decision of my life and stayed.
Anyways anyone with some advice on getting back state side, and hopefully going back and serving my country would be very helpful.
God bless, Lars
