What is the name of your state? NV

My ex room mate is being sued by a top designer company for selling a replica of there handbags, but when they came to serve the papers, i told them i didn't know how to reach her so they left with papers. My question is, since she was not served, will she still be in trouble? Please explain what happens in this kind of suituation.
Thank you.

Yes. Just because she wasn't served at this particular time doesn't mean she won't be served at a later date.

By the way, they aren't called Designer Replicas. The term is Knockoffs and they are illegal in the U.S. and most signatories to the Fair Trade Agreement Treaty.

don't worry about not being serviced. She will be served, either in-person or the many other remedies available through the statutes. She doesn't have to be served in-person.

You had better tell her the longer she HIDES from this the worst it could be for her. This isn't something to play games with.
