minnesota-- we have had ongoing problems with my daughter for 3 years --lyer thief drug addict suicidal runner cutter bipolar disorder depression we have been rung out by the courts and social services system for 3 years it has ALMOST BUT NOT YET DESTROYED OUR WHOLE LIVES they wouldnt listen to my concerns -actually acused me of trying to "burn my daughter " (social services) well she ran and got herself in trouble and now thay see what i have been dealing with FINALY! -- THEY PUT HER IN A DUAL DIAGNOSES FACILITY IN ST CLOUD MN CALLED RECOVERY PLUS AT THE ST CLOUD HOSPITAL --SHE WAS SUPPOSED TO BE LOCKED UP-- EVAN HER PROBATION OFFICER WAS SUPPRISED WHEN WE FOUND OUT SHE WASNT LOCKED UP but he didnt do anything obout it!!! SHE WAS IN THE CHILDRENS HOME AND SHE TOOK OFF AGAIN AND WAS MISSING FOR 3 weeks...they finaly found her which i think was just a fluke because noone seemed to be doing anything ---we had contacted missing minnnesota and the national center for missing and exploited children but before thay actually got going on things thank god she had been found - now she is locked up again at arrowhead juvinile center again and she is safe and they are trying to figureout what to do with her again ---i cant go through this again -- having her missing and in danger again-- what if they send her to an unsecured placement again how can i trust them to do the right thing and what do you think i should do about what happend the last time FONT=Arial]mn[/FONT]What is the name of your state?

I don't know how it works in MN, but it could be that there are different classifications of facilities. It may be that certain facilities cannot be "secure" facilities unless they are a correctional institution. And even those that ARE secure, it does not always mean that they are REAL secure.
