My boyfriend and I currently live in WA. My boyfriend and his ex-wife recently filed a divorce with the same lawyer. 90 days has past and documents has been signed. Upon reviewing the child support, we found out that his ex-wife boost up her hourly wage by $4.50 and my boyfriend's by $7. As a result, he ended up paying a child support more than of what he should. He also paid 1/2 of an attorney cost. Is it legal for us to fight this back? At first, He thought he could trust thier attorney. Apparently, attorney and his wife lied to him. We thought his lawyer correctly calculated the WA state standard child support formula. Since they both provided their pay stub, he thought that he trust her. What do we do from here?
