What is the name of your state? State is ND

I offered some advice to a friend, but it was my opionion, and called her back and told her to not take my word for it yet, let me check it out first, dont want to tell her one thing and be wrong

She was married at one time, got divorced, 5 years later got remarried. When she went in for the license she fibbed said that she was not married before, used her birth name and certificate for id.

Been 13 years now and she wants to correct that, she wants to call vital and tell them about the difference in name and that she was married once before, she does now have a copy of the divorce papers, where it does show clearly that she was divorced for 5 years before the remarriage.

Now she is still consider legally married right???? And will she be in any trouble if contacts vitals and tell them that she lied that she was married one time before and they need to check that.

It is long story why she did what she did, dont want to get into that but tell you the truth I dont blame her one bit.
