What is the name of your state? NE
Two weeks ago I sold independantly an older (92) vehicle with 171,000 mi. The lady test drove the vehicle. I told her all that I knew that was wrong with the vehicle, making it clear I am not a mechanic (After selling I did remeber one item I forgot). I held it for her at no cost for 30 days until she had the money for the vehicle. We exchanged money and title (what kelly's blue book says the vehicle was worth). After she had possesion, she took it to a mechanic who has found new things wrong that I did not know about. The total cost of repair to get this vehicle in "good" shape according to the mechanic is significant. She now says she will sue if I do not give her a 50% refund. I have told her this was "as is" and am waiting for her response.
Did I do something wrong? Can she get any money if she sues?
