What is the name of your state? Massachusetts

My car was reposessed and they filed a suit against me for $14,000. I could not pay this and did not answer the suit and a default judgement was issued.

This was 1 and a half years ago, since then I have gotten a better job, any while not "rich" I am back on my feet.

My question is what can they do? Garnish wages (if so the real question is how much? the question of how much seems to be hard to get an answer to).....

Any recommendations?

They can garnish your wages and latch on to any assets you have...car, house, land, etc.

Thank you.

I have no assets, the garnishing is what I worry about. If I may ask two more questions:

1) How much (percentage or dollar amount) can they garnish?

2) Is there a timeframe they would have to do this in?
