Hi I'm 18 from MI and I received an MIP in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan (Isabella County) a few months ago. I accepted the diversion program. I paid my fine. I had 30 days to finish 24 hours of community service by late November, I didn't do any of the hours. Then after a month I forgot I hadn't done it and I moved. 2 days ago I went to my old house to grab a few things, I found 2 letters saying the people in charge of the diversion program tried to contact me. I also found a letter that said they were going to try and reinstate the charges on me. This is short notice the court date is in a week..I live a few hours away from where I got it. What are my options? I doubt I can afford to drive up there even. I'm really stuck here and have absolutely no idea what to do or where to start.

Your first thing is to contact the probation office (or whoever it was who was trying to contact you). It's possible they might have mercy on your lazy soul and give you a THIRD chance. However, if not, you need to get yourself up to court. The next sound will be a warrant for your arrest and if they have to arrest you I can guarantee the diversion will be over and you won't see any leniency on the sentencing.
