Difference between SCC and civil court

What is the name of your state? Florida

In my SCC case, they invoked the rules of civil court and used discovery, depo's, motion to dismiss, continuance, summary judgement twice, etc.

In civil court, don't you use the rules of civil court?

So other than money, what's the difference?

I mean how is SCC suppose to be simpler?

Nolo's book stated never go to Civil court without a lawyer but if all rules of civil court were imposed on my SCC case, what could happen to me in Civil court that could not happen to me in SCC court. (Assuming Civil Court is the next one up after SCC).

Spike

Still curious:)
