i live in florida- employed in state govt.- state has mandated all employees use direct deposit. fla law states o.k. - i have seen several references over the past year that this requirement has been overturned in several jurisdictions. in spite of fla. law, can they require an employee to deal with a 3rd party (bank). i don't want to do this. i want my check directly to me. is there recourse?
