What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? GEORGIA

Someone please tell me how this would work? I am totally disable and my wife is also. I recieve both SSDI and Private DI payments. My wife recieves nothing as my SSDI is the max or too much money. My son gets one half the total on mine and he is 13. My wife is divorcing me and states she will take all my SSDI and Private DI or at least half. She is leaving for another man although I can not prove this. I will be keeping my son as she no longer wants him. What if anything can she make me pay?

Suggest that she apply for SSI. She's definitely not taking all of anything. If you are getting custody then you will continue to receive his SS payments. Whether you will pay alimony is up to the judge and depends on many factors.

Is she SSDI eligable, if not in a household already at max benefits? What would her benefits be if NOT living with you?
