What is the name of your state? Kentucky

I am disabled and my husband and I have a formed a corporation. He is the sole officer and runs the business. All the assets invested are mine, so therefore would like to be on the board. I am disabled and receive disability income. Is being on a board just to vote considered working even though there is only one schedule meeting a year.

I would like to have control over my assets investing just in case.

thanks

If I recall correctly from when I formed my corporation, the answer to your question depends on, at least in part, what type of corporation you have.

I am also curious about this. I live in the same state and a very similar situation. My wife and I formed an s-corp. Any advice? I too would like to maintain some control, but not actively work.
