I am a sole proprietor in Utah. I am "tutoring" women on their personal computers to use the Internet to research and track their investments. I do not claim to be a broker or CFP, and I do not recommend any investments. I have developed a Disclaimer for clients to sign that says as much, disclaiming liability for losses in their investments. Does the Disclaimer have to be reviewed by an attorney to be legal? Will the Disclaimer really protect me if written properly and the client signs it? Can someone out there review it for me?
