we purchased a home in WA. Two days after closing, the plumbing failed and water leaked from upstairs to downstairs. The plumber we hired advised that the plumbing was repaired wrong, and there were previous leaks. The inspector we hired missed all this. Two weeks after we moved in, the septic drainfield failed. I had the septic inspected and there was a report that it was ok. The septic inspector told me that the listing real estate agent told him there was a leak in the swimming pool, that leak flooded the drainfield. So upon his first inspection, the drainfield was saturated. He was told to return a week later, that the pool was repaired and he said the drainfield appeared to be drying up. The septic inspector neglected to put this information on the report, nor was any of this disclosed to me. Repairs have totaled 18k. Who is liable, the selling agent, the inspectors, or the previous home owners who failed to disclose?
