I've spoken with quite a few reps over there at Discover, and they're all saying pretty much the same thing now.

If you didn't receive the merchandise, they can dispute the purchases. Otherwise, they can't do anything about it.

At first, I was told they could dispute the purchase after the 90 day period after which I was supposed to receive the rebate. At any rate, I was told to pay the balances just the same.

Now, they are saying that they cannot dispute any purchases because the company has declared bankruptcy. The best thing is to fill out a bankrupttcy claim form.

They've been flooded with calls about this. They don't want to be stuck with the millions in bad debt, I guess.
