my husband and I have worked for the same trucking company in north carolina for about 8 yrs. My husband has dispatched for them in the past due to an injury for about a year. His health has been failing and has asked the owner if there was a position opening in dispatch would he be considered, the reply was there was a class for computer training and the boss would let him know when, boss never did and the next week a person unqualified was put in that position that was a good ole boy friend of the other dispatcher in the office,he lasted a week then they hired another one off the street. husband is on medical leave and was told by employer nothing was available, the week previous they told me when I asked about him going in the office they said he was behind the times ect. was he discriminated against?
