What is the name of your state?illinois

my self and fiancee have been living in a building for almost four years , our apartment has been flooding for nine months( master bedroom and closet) we have sustained about four thousand dollars in damages. there is now also black mold in carpet walls etc.. I am fighting cancer and cannot use my own bed room for the past nine months. any advice???? please

This needs to be done to have proof that they received the letters, or they can just put them in the circular file and say."Huh, what letter?"

If you didn't do it that way... do it that way again, now.

give them a time limit.
If no response then do it again, asking when would be a good time for them to set up a time to meet with the local health inspector... put in the address of the local health inspector... maybe with a little addedum asking if this is who they usually have had to deal with in the past.

No response, make date with said health inspector.
Now this might get your room back, I don't know about the personal items.

the first letter was sent certified and we did get a signature..

i will send another letter what is a reasonable time limit???
Can anyone advise me on all my lost posessions and lost time in living space??
