Disorderly conduct??

What is the name of your state? FL

I was walking home from a bar with some of my friends and some other people I didn't know last month. We were walking down a street and some of the people I didn't know started kicking this huge trash barrells over. All the sudden a cop pulled up to us and started goin crazy. He started yellin and tellin everyone to pick it up. I was on the side just watching as they were picking it up. Then he comes up to me and tells me to pick it up as well. I told him I wasn't gonna pick up someone elses mess. He told me to pick it up or go to jail... I said I don't have to pick up something that I had nothing to do with. So he arrested me for disorderly conduct which I think is total BS. Not only did I spend the night in an outdoor holding cell while it was cold as hell out! and the chained me up like jesus on the cross, but I have a 250$ fine!. I have decided to fight it... what happens if I don't win? and do you guys have any tips? I don't effin have $250... I'm tryin to save up for next semester damn it.

If you're trying to save up for next semester, why are you out drinking?

Anyway, ask the court clerk when you go to court who you talk to about doing community service instead of paying a fine. (You will still have to pay court costs, but it should help cut down the dough you have to fork over.)

there is a big difference between going out and spending fifteen bucks on a couple drinks after a long week of full time work/full time school, and paying $250 dollars because some cop got his feelings hurt cause I wouldn't pick something up just becuase he told me too. I hope he got in a car accident on the way home.

Alcohol is certainly very expensive for you.
