What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Ohio.

On November 21st, I received a ticket from the Cincinnati Police for disorderly conduct (Public Urination- Sec. #2917.11). I am a student in Minnesota, so I was not able to make it back to Cincinnati for the court date (12/4). I was supposed to pay the ticket within 7 days of the violation, however, I have not yet paid it. I am planning on paying the ticket in the next couple days, but I'm wondering if anyone has any information about if my fine will be higher or who to contact about the amount of the fine. Also, will this citation reflect anything on my record?

Just this past week, I got into trouble again and was given a minor consumption ticket in Minnesota. I am going to go to the court date for this ticket as it is in the town that my college is in. I am planning on trying to get this ticket off of my record by paying the fine and doing some sort of classes/service. My question is, if I pay it now, will the ticket from Cincinnati show up on my record in Minnesota?

Any general advice would be much appreciated as well. Thanks.

If the court in Cincinnati issued a warrant for your arrest, the court in Minnesota might just decide have you arrested and held to see if Cincinnati wants to extradite you. I would suggest calling the court in Cincinnati and finding you how much you owe (expect some late fees) and paying the fine before you appear in court in Minnesota. The above is a worst case scenario.

Thank you for your response. While I was talking with the Cincinnati Police, they made it sound like this ticket would only show up in the state of Ohio. If and WHEN I call and pay the ticket tomorrow, will the citation in Cincinnati still show up on my record in Minnesota?
