What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Michigan - On September 7, 2006 I was ordered to pay a dispute to a tenant of $150.00. The judge told me to pay this amount within 21 days. I paid on September 18, 2006 which is less than 21 days. I have postal service receipts signed by the tenant as proof of delivery. I was told by the court the tenant should have completed a “motion to satisfy” form which she did not. I’m trying to have this deleted it will stay on my credit report for 7 years.

I also sent the same information to Experian and Equifax they deleted it from my credit report no questions asked. Trans Union will take it off my credit report I have sent them copies of my proof but they always tell me they can not accept my documentation, even though they ask me to send it. Trans Unions refuses to give the contact information of the vendor that reported this information.

I went to the court house they tell me there are vendors that come in just to look for cases that are in default and they can not help me.

Do I not have the right to have the vendor information of the company that report this information to Trans Union. Trans Union says I can not have that information.

If you dispute thru the CRA's, they are REQUIRED to re-investigate and they are also REQUIRED to provide the name and address of the FURNISHER of the information with whom they (supposedly) verifed the information.

Sounds like this is a judgment. So yes, the CRA's pay vendors who do nothing but paw thru public records and sell that information to the CRA's. You KNOW what the problem is, get in touch with the tenant and ask that she file that Letter of Satisfaction with the court.
