I lost my grandmother back in 95, at that time there was a will read by my uncle who was appointed the executor.I learned that me(granddaughter)and her three children were to divide up any monies that were left after all her responsibilities were taken care of,unfortunately i learned recently from my aunt that i didn't get what i was suppose to back in 95 but they did and the reason was that my uncle was really upset with me and felt that i didn't deserve what i was do.My question is ,can i sue my uncle for whatever my portion is suppose to be and should we have been told at that time what was left and what our portion was.....no one knew but him....please help!!

You probably can if what you ay is true. You will need an attorney. What state?

I live in the state of Georgia.....will I have to obtain an attorney that will need funds upfront, which i beleive is called a retainer? If so, are there attorneys that will take this case on another basis...i guess if i win, then so will he or she?

Maybe. You can certainly. If the amount of potential recovery is significant and there is a good likelihood of success you may be abe to convince an attorney to take a contingency fee. Give some a call and fully discuss the facts of the case and the fee agreement upfront. Good luck.
