My question is...I am divorced now for a year, the decree states that I am to pay almost all of the bills. I have had several phones calls about such bills and agreed to work out new payments for these. His name is also on these bills. One particular one contacted me to set up payment arrangements and informed me that the decree doesn't mean anything and that he is still responsible. I let them know where to contact him at and haven't heard anything from them since, until now, we are both being sued for this bill, already have went to court for this and the judge informed us of several options. His being to pursue an attorney, mine as willing to pay half of this debt. Have contacted the attorney for the plantiff and await a reply. How do i pursue this further to get it resolved? We have another court date for later this month. Did I do the right thing?......Janice
