I am going through a divorce and am entitled to a work related injury settlement. Is my spouse entitled to any part of that settlement?

My response:

No. That's why they're called "personal injuries" - - the damages were personal to you, and so is any settlement. Also, any settlement money is non-taxable, except for that portion of the settlement won by you that replaces wages that you lost.
